Clean Skin Project

12d Model can be customised and setup to make it easier to use, and easier to achieve a consistent presentation standard, but there are many different settings, all interrelated with each other.

To provide documentation and working examples of the 'way we think it should be done', the Clean Skin project was born.

Clean Skin will provide you with information about customisation and sample files that you can download & modify.

We think of it as the setup that we would use if we were running a company that did Detail Survey, Design, and Setout/conformance.

We call this company 'Clean Skin Consultants'.

We expect that the content of this page will grow during early 2009, so please come back to check from time to time.

Plotting and Export

AIM

Give a short list of Plotters so that the ‘correct’ plotter is easy to find.

• Remove most of the plotters.

• Add a special plotter for plotting sections to CAD.

Plot Long and Cross Sections, Drainage and Pipeling Long Sections to CAD with all the data in layers, with:

• Colours and Linetypes etc 'bylayer'

• Plot into a standard drawing template (dwt).

Plot Plans Directly from 12d Model to the Plotter:

• High Quality output directfrom12d Model

• Plot with a Title Block

• Reproduce plans quickly if the design changes

• Line weights assigned by colour of line

Standard Long and Cross Section ppfs set as the default.
