Extra Dimension Solutions Skill Migrant Training Course

Extra Dimension Solutions offers a special course for Civil Designers from overseas, who have come to Australia on Skilled Migrant Visas, and who are looking for relevant work.

The EXDS Skilled Migrant Training Course is intended to improve the employment prospects of experienced designers who have come to Australia as Skilled Migrants.  Funding arrangements mean that places on the course are only available to Skilled Migrants with relevant qualifications and experience.

The four day course will be held in October, on Friday 14th & Saturday 15th then 28th and 29th.  The course will be held at the Crows Nest Centre in Crows Nest, Sydney.

The for the four days of training is $396 including GST.

The Course provides:-

• Hands on training in the use of 12d Model.
• Training in design methods used in Australia.
• Advise about the work methods and the expectations of potential employers.

To attend the EXDS Skilled Migrant Training, you must meet the following conditions:

• You must have come to Australia on a Skilled Migrant Visa.
• You must have relevant qualifications (a recognised degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field from a University or Technical College in your home country).
• You must have relevant experience in the design of roads, highways, and/or stormwater drainage systems.
• You must be seeking work in the Civil Engineering sector in Australia. (If you already have a job, please leave the place on the course for someone who hasn't).
• You will need to have access to a computer to do assignment work in your own time.

If you wish to attend the EXDS Skilled Migrant Training you should download a application form here and send it (along with your current C.V. and a copy of your qualifications) to Extra Dimension Solutions.
We will contact you when we receive the application form to discuss your experience and qualifications, and we may request an interview before assigning you a place on the course.

You will be provided with a Certificate of Attainment after successful completion of the course.

Extra Dimension Solutions reserves the right to:-

• cancel or postpone the course if there are not enough people attending,
• restrict attendance to people that we believe have relevant qualifications and and experience (gained in your home country) to successfully complete the course.
